Hebrew Word of the Week
Based on the Weekly Torah Portion
The Hebrew word of the week is metzora ("leper"), taken from the Torah portion called Metzora. This word appears in the second verse of the Torah portion (i.e, Leviticus 14:2):
Metzora derives from a Hebrew root tzara' (Strong# 6879; TWOT# 1971). Here are some other words that use the same root:
"And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him" (Matthew 8:7)
