The Hebrew word of the week is barakh (to kneel, bless, praise), which appears both as a verb and as a noun as in the first verse of Parashat V'zot Haberakhah:

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God
blessed the people of Israel before his death. (Deut 33:1)

Related Words:

From the root barakh are derived other words, such as barukh (blessed), berekh (knee), b'rakha (blessing), thus implying an association between humbling ourselves (i.e., kneeling before the LORD in submission and obedience) and receiving personal blessing from Him.
