Are you missionizing Jews?

Postby Guest » Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:56 pm

Good day

This is a great site, even for Jews.

However ...

Here you probably know what I am going to say. If I post a link to your site to fellow members of my synagogue, I know in advance what they will say: How could you do such a thing -- this is clearly a missionizing site!

(It is not, of course, as a visit, even a brief visit, willl show.)

Still, you can't blame Jews for jumping to such a conclusion. So do you have a way that I can reasssure them that this is not a missonizing site?

Shalom... Well, the site is called Hebrew FOR CHRISTIANS, so what I am hiding? As for "missionizing," if you mean sharing what I believe to be the truth, then everyone is a "missionary" in their own way. I simply write and share -- to a Christian audience - insights about Hebrew, Jewish tradition, etc. I am not speaking directly to "rabbinical" Jews, though they are free to listen in, if they wish. My own philosophy is that each person is free - but must choose - his or her own faith in God (or lack thereof, as the case may be), and therefore each person is infinitely responsible for their own decisions...
