What's your thought, is it the term "old testament" correct?

It is perhaps not the best choice of words. Paul refers to the "old covenant" (παλαιά διαθήκη, or in Hebrew, הַבְּרִית הַיְשָׁנָה) in 2 Cor. 3:14, but the idea of "testament" connotes ideas that are alien to the meaning of the text.... Nonetheless, there is a distinction between the covenant God made with us through Yeshua the Messiah and the covenant God made with Israel in sefer ha-brit at Sinai....
