Since I have been reading in the articles or the parashas in your site here ... I frequently see what you wrote & explain about YHVH & Elohim... If I don't get wrong, what you mean about YHVH, He is gracious, providing salvation and what you mean about Elohim, He is Judge of the World... After I contemplated on this, I conclude your statement is LOGIC... so, I agreed with you...

But, my question, why did I ONLY find these explanation on your website? Nor in another big Messianic congregation like FFOZ or TorahResource... Even not in my Messianic community in Indonesia... One day, I have asked my pastor/rabbi on this subject but unfortunately he became confused (so then he don't answer my question via message)...

So, I thank to H4C for the explanation about meaning of YHVH & Elohim... They enlighten me...

These ideas are part of traditional Jewish exegesis regarding the seven Names of God given in the Torah. They are explored in the Talmud, midrash, responsa, and other Jewish literature. In simple terms, Elohim (אֱלהִים) generally is thought to refer to God as Creator - and therefore all creation is accountable to Him. The Name YHVH (יהוה) first appears when Adam is created and the LORD God "comes up close" to breath into him the "breath of life" (רוּחַ חַיִּים).
