I think the Scriptures are silent on this question because to know Yeshua is to know His heart -- his attitudes, his thinking, his passion -- which is far more important than knowing his appearance... This is consistent, by the way, with most other accounts of persons in the Scripture. We don't know how Moses looked, for example....
Awhile back we had a thread on the other forum that looked at various artistic expressions of Yeshua... Most of these were absurd (for example, Yeshua depicted as a pregnant woman or as a native American who died on a totem pole). We are commanded not to make an "image or likeness" of God, and since Yeshua was YHVH in the flesh, I take it that this commandment also applies to Him. Most traditional "Christian" art is based on mistaken (i.e., Greek/Roman) ideas about Yeshua anyway.
